Lots of Shows This Month

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

As we’ve mentioned before, Mother/Father is constantly adding new shows, and we’ve got three shows confirmed for the band this month. For a little while, the band had been focused on getting on the road, which meant that M/F hometown shows were a bit few and far between. So all the shows scheduled in July will be Nashville shows.

Sunday, July 11th at Mercy Lounge with New Politics and Funeral Party. More details on the Tour Page. Add yourself to the Facebook Event

Monday, July 19th at Mercy Lounge for an 8 off 8th. More details on the Tour Page. Add yourself to the Facebook Event

Friday, July 30th at 12th and Porter with Kink Ador and The Ettes. More Details on the Tour Page. Add yourself to the Facebook Event

Bonus

And although it’s not a July show, thought we’d still include it in this post…

Mother/Father will be playing with Roman Candle Sunday, August 1st in Atlanta. Details on this show are also on the Tour Page

As we’re continually adding more shows on a regular basis, make sure you stay connected to ThisIsMotherFather.Com/Tour, so you don’t miss any show announcements.

Physical Heaven In More Stores (and another review)

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

It’s been a fun week of release celebration, and we’ve been enjoying sharing the moment with you all along the way.

On Tuesday we mentioned that Physical Heaven would be available in more stores on a daily basis. So we want to mention that the new EP is now available on iTunes and Amazon in addition to Radical Notion digital.

You will find Physical Heaven on iTunes here: Buy Physical Heaven on iTunes

You will find Physical Heaven on Amazon here: Buy Physical Heaven on Amazon

You will always find the primary places to purchase any and all Mother/Father releases on the Purchase page.

Another Review
Dave Miller steps in with another fan review of Physical Heaven. You will find that here: Mother/Father “Physical Heaven” on foxy digitalis

NOTE: this is NOT the same David Miller that plays drums in Mother/Father. Want to make that perfectly clear.

Thanks to the fans for all these great reviews. We’re really enjoying reading them, and are humbled by the praise.

Cheers!

DEAD SOULS

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

Today, May 18, marks the 30th anniversary of the suicide of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. Joy Division released its critically-acclaimed debut album Unknown Pleasures in 1979, and recorded their follow-up Closer in 1980. Suffering from epilepsy and a failing marriage, Curtis committed suicide on 18 May 1980, on the eve of Joy Division’s first North American tour.
